Dr Takeyce Palmer

About Me

Dr. Takeyce Palmer is a consultant anaesthetist/intensivist, and head of the Department of Anaesthesia, critical care, and pain at the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority. 

She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (Jamaica) – Faculty of Medical Sciences where she completed both her undergraduate medical/surgical and postgraduate degrees in anaesthesia and intensive care.

She is a Jamaican national and once held the post of honorary secretary of the Jamaica Anaesthetists Association. She has enjoyed working in this interesting and dynamic specialty for more than 18 years and has been a consultant for the last 13 years. 

Dr. Takeyce is a Christian and enjoys music, travel, and running.
