Dr Rhonda Reeves

About Me

Dr. Rhonda Reeves is an obstetrician and gynaecologist practising at the HSA’s Women's Health Department.

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus in 2007, with honours in obstetrics and gynaecology.

After completing her internship, she worked in public health and in emergency medicine before her love for obstetrics won her over and she decided to concentrate her efforts solely on obstetrics and gynaecology, which she has been practising for the past nine years; completing her residency in 2014. After completing her residency, she was inducted to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as a fellow in 2017.

She has previously worked at the University Hospital of the West Indies, Spanish Town Hospital and Victoria Jubilee Hospitals, as well as providing private obstetric care to private practices and hospitals, before moving to the Cayman Islands.

She has been active as the president of her community association, and provided medical service to her church's health fairs and clinics.

Patient education remains important to her as she consistently provides health talks both in the media and at corporate offices, as well as being a contributor to the health supplement in the Jamaica Gleaner newspaper.
