About Me

Dr. Peter Sipos is an academically trained OBGYN. He was a researcher and lecturer at the Universities of Manchester and Sheffield in both Fetal Medicine and Gynaecological Oncology.

He was a visiting researcher at the Universities of Cambridge and Alberta. His area of interest is angiogenic fetal stem cells in the mother, fetus and ovarian cancer. The work of his group is well published and awarded internationally.

He completed his specialty training in Manchester and Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and he earned his PhD in Manchester. He joined the HSA’s Women’s Health Department in 2019.
