About Me

Dr. Nelson graduated with honours from the University of Medicine, Lagos, Nigeria where he was awarded the prize for best graduating student. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, Jamaica after which he pursued a post graduate certificate in nephrology at the Institute of Nephrology, UWI.

An internist/nephrologist at the Health Services Authority, Dr. Nelson is also an adjunct lecturer for UWI, Mona, a fellow of American College of Physicians and a member of the International Society of Nephrology.

He is the author/co-author of 16 published papers in peer-reviewed journals.
