Dr Iuliana Irimia

About Me

Dr. Iulia Irimia is an OB/GYN Consultant with more than 10 years of experience working in this specialty.

She is originally from Romania where she began her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, after graduated the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Gr. T. Popa' in her hometown Iasi before moving to Ireland in 2013.  She worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist in West of Ireland for 5 years, before moving to Cayman Islands. She joined the Health Service Authority in 2022.

Dr. Irimia is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in UK (MRCOG) and a member of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland (MRCPI). She values leadership, innovation and trust and pursued further training with a master's in leadership in healthcare.

Dr. Irimia strategic goals and objectives are designed to meet the healthcare challenges that we face now and bring them into the future with the focus on change and improvement on women experiences and outcomes. 

Dr Irimia loves cycling and skiing and since moving to Cayman she discovered a new passion for pickleball.
