Dr Camille Blake

About Me

Dr. Camille Blake is a Consultant Microbiologist. She completed her studies in Medical Microbiology at The University of the West Indies, Mona. Her special interests are Antibiotic Resistance and Infection Prevention and Control. She has been the recipient of various research grants from the University of the West Indies and National Institutes of Health for research on Ebstein-Barr virus and BK virus. She now serves as the first medical microbiologist at the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority and is the chair of the antimicrobial stewardship committee. She is a member of the American Society for Microbiology and Pan American Society for Clinical Virology.
