The Cayman Islands Health Services Authority (HSA) Flu Clinic will be relocated to the General Practice Building, effective Friday, 8th January 2021.
The Flu Clinic will close early at its current location at 1pm Thursday 7 January 2021. Persons wishing to visit the clinic from 1-5pm will be seen inside the General Practice Clinic.
The flu clinic will continue to operate from Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm in the General Practice Building at the Cayman Islands Hospital. A dedicated physician will be available as normal to treat patients in the clinic.
All persons with flu symptoms are advised to first contact the 24-hour Flu Hotline to speak to a health professional about their symptoms prior to visiting the clinic. Contact 1-800-534-8600, 345-947-3077 or flu@hsa.ky.
Flu symptoms may include:
- Fever
- Sore throat
- Cough
- Runny nose
- Muscle or body aches
- Chills
If you experience worsening symptoms such as:
- Sudden dizziness and confusion;
- Severe or persistent vomiting;
- Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen; or,
- Difficulty breathing
call the Flu Hotline or 911.
All persons are required to wear a facemask at all HSA locations.
