Dermatologist

The Dermatologist provides a quality patient centered medical service at the Cayman Islands Hospital, Grand Cayman.

Primary Responsibilities: The successful candidate will diagnose, treat and help prevent disease or other conditions of the skin. He/she will provide a 24-hour dermatology medical service and regular dermatology outpatient clinics. Provide inpatient services which include managing patients and consults as necessary, and give specialty advice to, or accept cases referred by Faith Hospital. The candidate will be required to perform dermatologic surgery and interventions as the case demands and work closely with colleagues in other disciplines. He/she will participate in strategic healthcare planning of medical services and establish an ongoing educational program for the junior physicians within the department.

Qualifications & Experience: The successful candidate must possess FRCP, DM or equivalent in Dermatology and have at least 3 years’ postgraduate experience in the dermatology specialty. Must be eligible to acquire registration to practice in the Cayman Islands. Must have current license in one of the seven recognized jurisdictions: New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, USA, Canada, Jamaica or United Kingdom.
