The Interventional Radiologist provides a high-quality patient centered radiology service at the Cayman Islands Hospital, Grand Cayman, and Faith Hospital when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities: The successful candidate will provide specialized radiological and other imaging procedures. They will interpret and report on all investigations conducted and provide advice on all imaging equipment within the Health Services Department. Additionally, the candidate will provide consultative advice to allied medical and surgical specialties. The candidate will be responsible for providing 24-hour imaging service and overseeing the imaging service of Faith Hospital. Manage the imaging service in a manner that is both effective and efficient with the resources available. The candidate will actively engage in continuing professional development for medical staff, which includes clinical audit and clinico-radiological meetings.

Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate must possess specialist qualifications (i.e. FRCS or DM training in Interventional Radiology) or equivalent from a recognised institution. Must have a minimum of seven (7) years post graduate specialist working experience inclusive of specific experience in CT, MRI, Mammography and Ultrasound. The candidate must also hold a valid license from either of the seven (7) jurisdictions; Jamaica, Canada, USA, United Kingdom, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia as specified in the Health Practice Law, Cayman Islands. The candidate should possess excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills in interacting with patients attending the Radiology Department. The ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team is essential.

Relocation package includes air passage and freight for employee and dependent (s) to the Cayman Islands
