Event Description

In honor of Diabetes Prevention Month, the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority brings another Continuing Medical Education (CME) opportunity Spotlight on Diabetes.

This session will feature healthcare experts with the following topics: 

•  An interesting case of uncontrolled diabetes - Dr. Schade Stanton, HSA Consultant Internal Medicine
• Approach to the newly diagnosed diabetic patient - Dr. Diane Hislop-Chestnut, Consultant Endocrinologist, Palm Road Medical
• The Eyes Have It: Ophthalmic complication related to diabetes - Dr. Brenda Mulenga, Consultant Ophthalmologist
• At the Heart of It: Cardiovascular complications related to diabetes - Dr. Brian Noronha, Consultant Cardiologist
