The following services will close early Wednesday, 3rd July:
- Smith Road Pharmacy & Main Hospital Pharmacy – closes at 2:00 pm
- Information Desk and Medical Records – closes at 2:00 pm
Additionally, the HSA has cancelled all elective surgeries. Patients will be contacted directly to reschedule appointments affected by these closures.
HSA will provide updates regarding resumption of all services pending an all-clear from Hazard Management Cayman Islands following the storm.
A&E will still operate 24 hours, but persons are reminded to stay home unless it is a true medical emergency. During tropical force winds, 911 emergency calls are responded to on an individual basis depending on risk assessment. Treatment should be sought for medical emergencies only . EMS vehicles do not operate in tropical force winds, which are deemed unsafe for you and the EMS responders.
SISTER ISLANDS
Outpatient clinics at Faith Hospital will close at 12pm on Wednesday, 3rd July through Thursday 4th July 2024.
Faith Hospital Pharmacy will close at 2:00 p.m.
A&E at the Faith Hospital will remain open for any emergencies but will be temporarily relocated to the Aston Rutty Medical Wing from 1:00 pm on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024. To contact A&E, persons may call 345-244-7643.
Little Cayman Health Centre can be reached at 345-916-5395 in an emergency.
As a reminder to the public, Cayman Islands Health Services Authority facilities, including district health centres, are not general hurricane shelters for the public. If you need shelter, please go to a district hurricane shelter.
