Sister Island residents can access the limited supply of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, May 3 from 2 4pm at the Public Health office at Faith Hospital, Cayman Brac. Walk-ins available, no appointment required.The AstraZeneca vaccine is available to persons who are unable to take the Pfizer vaccine due to medical reasons or otherwise prefer to take this vaccine.The first dose of the vaccine must be administered on Monday May 3 to ensure the second dose is administered by its expiration date of May 31 2021. AstraZeneca requires a 28-day interval between each dose. This vaccine has been approved for persons 18 years and older.The AstraZeneca vaccine requires a consent form for Dose 1.
